NIGERIA’s first online livestock platform, Livestock247.com has been unveiled. The firm said the technology would complement government’s efforts at regulating, structuring, transforming and promoting investments in the livestock sector.
Speaking at the launch in Lagos, the chairperson, Livestock247.com, Ms Amina Oyagbola, said the technology seeks to substantially limit the dangers in the distribution, handling and preparation of livestock by simplifying access to healthy and fit processes.
Oyagbola said that the platform was designed to enable livestock investors, owners and farmers to be readily matched with buyers and consumers anywhere in the country as well as creating a logistical value chain for the benefits of all stakeholders in the industry. Read More
